HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- The Summer Training Program focuses on player development for ages 11-13.
- Each training event focuses on a specific individual skillset like 1v1, Passing, and Finishing.
- Included in each event is:
- a welcome packet
- a full player assessment and evaluation
- competitive training modules
- technical development
- free admission to "My Kid's Got Talent: What's Next?" seminar
- local professional soccer player engagement
- US Profiling Combine (Eintracht Frankfurt Immersion Trip)
- The schedule is 9-11am, Monday through Thursday. (Monday starts at 8:30am for REGISTRATION)

One of TSX's core coaches is Desmond Armstrong, a US National Team Veteran. During his tenure he collected 81 caps as his defensive prowess shined. Many commentators and coaches recognized him as a 'silky smooth' defender and with his incredible speed, it made him a formidable presence at the highest level. Desmond played in the Olympics and was the first American to sign professionally in Brazil (Santos FC). He was also invited to the World XI All-Star Game, where he laced up his boots alongside some of the all-time greats in the game.
The vision of TSX is to make a difference in the lives of others through soccer by helping players reach their highest potential! We know that life is so much more than just a game. We see the beautiful game as a way to develop as a person and soccer serves to help us go through this process. We can provide unique opportunities to realize what each player is capable of.
Brent Goulet is a US National Team Veteran, and one of TSX's core group of coaches. As a college player at Warner Pacific he was a Hermann Award Finalist and tallied an amazing 108 goals in 4 years. Coach Brent played alongside Coach Desmond in the Olympics and was the USA Player of the Year in 1987, as his attacking ability was exceptional. He holds a UEFA Pro coaching badge, which is one of the highest credentials a coach can receive internationally. Coach Brent played professionally and was a manager for years in Germany and continues to develop players in dramatic fashion.
Our staff has the experience to be able to provide extremely professional training. Development is a crucial step in helping a player reach their goals. The coaches know how to assess where a player truly is on this journey to mastering the game of soccer. This is a skillset that takes a lifetime to be able to harness completely. TSX has this unique ability. Once your player has gone through our training program, they will have a tangible assessment to review, and ways to continue to progress. For players who are ready to move forward and pursue opportunities, our network of connections is ready to place players and provide a chance for further growth. By leveraging time-tested resources for parents to utilize during this journey, TSX seeks to shorten the learning curve for parents and help unlock the potential of young aspiring athletes.
TSX: HELPING PARENTS NAVIGATE THE SOCCER LANDSCAPE
Parents constantly ask the question, “What’s next?” Over the past 30 years, soccer participation in America has grown by leaps and bounds. Any number of leagues, clubs or academies offered to parents in their respective cities can be daunting. Navigating the choices at hand to determine what is best can be extremely confusing.
TSX offers local, national and global insight and serves as a filter for all the noise and distractions. Parents can lean on the expertise of our coaching staff to not only train their child, but guide them in their next steps forward. Our guiding principles are Development, Competition and Exposure. The themes for the summer training program highlight these principles giving each participant a foundation to build on.
TSX has pulled from the European structure and model for player development. The molding of a player begins very early and the channels used to engage in the sport are typically well-mapped. In the States, however, talent identification and proper development tends to lag many years behind the crucial timeframes. By the time a player harnesses the technical skills, their tactical awareness has not yet progressed and thus the windows of opportunity can slip away. This is where our team of soccer experts can be such a useful asset.
